Megan King • project manager

Megan received her Master's in Fundraising and Philanthropy from New York University where she honed her skills in donor relations, board governance, ethics, planned giving and annual and capital campaigns. She received her bachelor's degree in Business and Professional Communication at SUNY Plattsburgh. Megan brings experience in both consulting and in-house nonprofit work. At Communication Services, she developed strategic communications and media relations for a number of the Capital Region's healthcare and arts organizations. Most recently, she interned in the Planned Giving Department at the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. She volunteers as a big sister through Big Brothers, Big Sisters of New York City. As the Project Manager at Wingo, Inc., Megan is responsible for the planning, execution and outcome of all client projects. She assesses each client’s organizational and fundraising history and, with the team, determines the most effective course of action. Megan takes part in foundation and individual prospect research, management of solicitation appeals and board communications.
