Christopher Politan is an accomplished non-profit executive and leader with experience in shaping more efficient, effective and successful organizations, through business planning, resource development and strategy. With over ten years of experience in the field, he has worked with organizations in New York, New Jersey and Washington, DC, building institutional capacity through financial oversight and planning, board development, resource diversification, special events and marketing. As a former Executive Director, Christopher has worked directly on the interface between finance and development, growing an organization from a budget of $500,000 to $2.4M in four years. He maintains a commitment to integrated non-profit management, working with clients to improve data infrastructure, development processes and programmatic/organizational budgeting. As a community volunteer, Christopher has served on several boards, and at present serves on the Board of the Center in Asbury Park and as the Secretary of the Board of the International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics Association. Christopher also provides philanthropic advising services to a select number of clients focused on sustainable change--leveraging resources for best practices in the non-profit sector.
